My new film about the 650th Anniversary of the Anglo-Portuguese Alliance has just been released on History Hit.I really enjoyed making this one and I learned so much. It includes castles, longbows (in a crucial but little known 100-years-war battle that everyone SHOULD know about), Napoleon, Churchill, tea and Port wine. The Anglo-Portuguese Alliance (1373) is the longest surviving alliance in history and it really is a surprising and fascinating story.History Hit is a subscription streaming channel that only does history documentaries.
